Seedless Neptune Grape

Sweet, Juicy and Seedless

Sweet, juicy and seedless, Neptune is sure to become a grower's favorite in no time at all. High yields of fruit grow in large, conical clusters over a sturdy, productive vine. Unlike many of their contemporaries, these grapes resist cracking AND diseases, which makes them the perfect variety for organic gardeners since no sprays are necessary. Traditionally grown as a table grape, it has a crisp, fresh, fruity flavor that is also good for snacking. Plant in a full-sun site with moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soil for best results. Vine grows up to 4-7' in length and starts bearing fruit in 2-4 years. Harvest in mid to late September. Prune in late February or March to promote better fruit production. Self pollinating. Hardy in Zones 5-8.
