A favorite for planting on inclines that need stabilizing or places where mowing is difficult, Daylilies for Naturalizing (Hemerocallis fulva) are value priced and 20 plants per offer. This makes it affordable to tackle larger areas. Planted about a foot apart, they will quickly spread to fill an open area or stabilize a steep bank. They are not fussy about their soil conditions and are hardy even in extreme northern regions (to Zone 3). They thrive practically anywhere! This species of daylily produces clumps of grass-like foliage, sturdy 24-30 in. tall stems and bright orange flowers 4-5 in. across. They bloom in summer, sometimes sporadically until frost. Individual fan size may vary. Grow best in full sun to partial shade. Zones 3-9.
