This iris is sure to amaze no matter where it's planted. Mid- to late-spring displays of Mystic's Muse fill the landscape with ruffled blooms of the prettiest seashell pink color we've seen. Each flower features bold tangerine-orange beards that add so much style and flair to the garden! Carefree and low-maintenance plants are pest- and disease-resistant, as well as tolerant of most any soil type, making this iris the ideal choice for an elegant flower-filled focal point or stately back-border addition. Snip a few stems for a beautiful fresh bouquet or floral arrangement. Like all irises, Mystic's Muse enjoys a sunny environment, but will also tolerate some shade. To get the most from your irises, simply remove spent flower heads to promote better blooming. Zones 4-9.

We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

Color: Seashell pink sirens. Bright tangerine beards enliven the petals' bright pink shading.

Form: Perennial, iris, German (tall bearded)
Flower Form: Flowers are fan-shaped, with three drooping petals called falls and three upright petals called standards. Ruffled.
Soil Requirements: Well-drained soil.
Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
Pruning: Remove spent flower stems after blooming. In late fall, cut back foliage to 6 inch fans. Clean plant debris before winter to prevent borers overwintering.
Foliage: Glaucous-green sword-like fans of stiff upright leaves with some dying back in colder climates in winter.
