Form: Rounded, dense shrub
Flower Form: Many small flowers bloom in terminal panicles on the current season's growth.
Soil Requirements: Well-drained soil. Soil pH should be 5.0 - 6.5.
Growth Rate: Moderate.
Pruning: Remove spent flowers to encourage reblooming later in the season. Flowers on new growth, so pruning should be done in late winter. Prune to maintain a desired shape, and to remove dead and broken branches. Late winter.
Foliage: Deciduous, glossy, dark green foliage is very healthy looking and shows good resistance to leaf spot and powdery mildew. New growth emerges with reddish coloring and matures to dark green.
