A low-maintenance perennial with spectacular blooms and attractive foliage. Midnight Marvel's  9-in. deep scarlet-red flowers bloom from midsummer to early fall and attract butterflies to the garden. The deep wine-purple, thick, leathery leaves turn brilliant orange in fall. Growing 4 ft. tall, Midnight Marvel Hibiscus is a showy perennial that can be grown as a specimen plant or grouped as a temporary, flowering hedge. The plants perform well in moist areas, making them effective for planting along streams and ponds. Deer tend to avoid. For best results, plant in full sun.  Zones 4-9. PP24079.
