Deep purple flower spikes soar 6-8 in. above the blue-gray foliage in the summer and last for weeks. The flower spikes attract butterflies and hummingbirds—and are long-lasting as cut flowers. May Night Salvia, commonly called wood sage, is a very low-maintenance, drought-tolerant perennial. This 1997 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year has aromatic foliage and is stunning when planted in drifts or masses. It's also good for planting in perennial borders and butterfly gardens. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
