Lois' Choice Itoh Peony

Gold medalaward winner

One look at these flowers and you'll see why the American Peony Society named it a Gold Medal Winner. The double, bomb-type blooms in pink and cream just beg for a closer look. A cross between an herbaceous and tree peony, Lois' Choice Itoh Peony grows 30-36 in. tall and seldom requires staking. The flowers open in spring to early summer and attract pollinators. A long-lived perennial, Lois' Choice has green foliage that stays attractive throughout the season. Deer tend to pass it by. Performs best when planted in full sun to partial shade. Zones 4-9.
