Lincoln Shell Pea Seed

Great For Freezing!

  • 6-9 peas per pod
  • Handles the heat better than many pea varieties
  • English heirloom variety
Generations of home gardeners have treasured this English heirloom variety. Lincoln Shell Pea bears up to 4-inch pods filled with 6-9 tender, sweet green peas. The peas are excellent for eating fresh, but are also good for freezing—so in winter time, you can savor that summertime, fresh pea flavor. The high-yielding plants grow up to 30 inches tall and will perform best if staked. Like other peas, Lincoln Shell Pea likes cooler weather, but it stands up to the heat a lot better than most. This makes it a good choice for Southern gardens and late plantings. The plants resist wilt. 67 DAYS.

All Gurney's pea seed is treated.
