Tender kernels, giant ears and sensational flavor are all wrapped in a dark green husk, creating a perfect package for the market or home. Vibrant golden yellow 9-in. ears are excellent for fresh eating, canning or freezing. Good disease tolerance and intermediate resistance to Northern corn leaf blight. cv. ACX3023. 79 DAYS.

Seed Counts: A packet of 250 sweet corn seeds sows a 50-ft. row. A 1/2-lb. packet of sweet corn seeds sows a 200-ft. row.

  • Germination: 4 - 7 days with a soil temp of 85 degrees F.

  • Soil Requirements: Needs deep, well-drained, fertile soil, pH 6.0 to 6.8 and consistent moisture
  • Pruning: Not necessary to remove suckers (side sprouts growing from the base of the plant).
  • Comments: High quality fresh-market variety selected for flavor, texture, and attractive dark husk package. For those who prefer their corn be a little less sweet, but still sensationally flavorful, this is the one for you! Rich, full flavor, tender texture, golden color and huge ears made this a winner in our corn trials. Freezes very well. NOTE: Isolate (250 - 300 feet or by 3+ weeks maturity time) from su, se and synergistic types.
