New and improved formula provides broccoli, lettuce, beans, melons, squash and other vegetables with the nutrients they need for strong growth, improved yields and better flavor. Gurney's Vegetable Food is a slow-release, all-natural plant food that contains no manures or fillers. It won't burn young plants. Made with a diverse mix of ingredients, it performs in all soil types and weather. Key ingredients include alfalfa meal (a source of nitrogen, calcium and potassium), kelp meal (a good soil conditioner and an excellent source of micronutrients, enzymes and plant growth regulators), molasses (a microbe-feeding energy source) and humic acid (helps make minerals more available to plants). Apply twice a year.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
