Vibrant flowers bloom against glossy, dark green foliage all summer long. Growing 4-5 ft. tall, it makes an impressive hedge or accent plant. Also can be grown in a container. Good disease and deer resistance. Zones 6-10.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.

Height: 4 - 5 Feet

Form: Deciduous flowering shrub, crape myrtle.
Flower Form: Vibrant clusters of crepe paper-like flowers
Soil Requirements: Well-drained, organically rich, moisture retentive soil. Becomes more drought tolerant with age.
Growth Rate: Moderate growth rate.
Pruning: Remove spent flowers to encourage reblooming later in the season. Flowers on new growth, so pruning should be done in late winter. Prune to maintain a desired shape, and to remove dead and broken branches. Late winter.
Foliage: Deciduous, glossy, dark green foliage is very healthy looking and shows good resistance to leaf spot and powdery mildew. New growth emerges with reddish coloring and matures to dark green.
