Echinacea Seeds

Outstanding Health Benefits

  • Attracts birds and butterflies
  • Stimulates immune response
  • Used in cut and dried floral arrangements
Echinacea, or purple coneflowers, are some of the most useful perennial herbs in the garden. The plants are known to stimulate immune responses to help the body resist viral and bacterial infections. The daisylike purple flowers also attract pollinators, including butterflies--and birds, especially goldfinches, like to feast on the seed heads in the fall and winter. Growing 24-48 in. tall, the flowers bloom in the summertime. They can be used in both fresh and dried floral arrangements. This sun-loving perennial is deer resistant and drought resistant, once established. It's impressive when planted in large groups or in mixed perennial beds.
