Colossus Crowder Pea

Improved Crowder flavor.

  • 7-9 inch pods
  • Easy to shell
  • Disease-resistant plants
Semi-vining plants produce plenty of 7-9 inch, easy-to-shell, silver-green pods with large, brown peas. The peas have an improved flavor over older varieties. Colossus Crowder Pea, sometimes called a cow pea, is one of the more popular southern peas and can be eaten as a green shell pea or dried for later use. The plants produce high yields, are resistant to fusarium wilt and nematodes and are adaptable to a range of soil conditions, including clay and sandy soils. 75 DAYS.
