Clematis General Sikorski

Up to 8-Inch Flowers

Dramatic dark lavender flowers with prominent, creamy-yellow stamens, cover this vine in late spring—and again in late summer. The 6-8 in. flowers are predominately semi-double during the spring bloom and single during the rebloom. Fluffy seed clusters follow the flowers. Medium green leaves provide an attractive backdrop for the flowers. Growing 8-10 ft. tall, General Sikorski Clematis can be trained to scramble up a trellis, fence or lamp post. It can also be grown in a container. Deer resistant and easy to grow, this manageable vine performs best when planted in well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Potted. Zones 4-9.
