It is a fast-growing (4–6" per year) evergreen shrub with a small branching stem structure that is easily pruned to almost any desired shape. A fine specimen shrub; ideal as a low, medium-sized hedge. Very tolerant of pests and diseases with excellent deer resistance. 4' tall and 4' wide at maturity. Potted. Zones 5–9.
