One of the best perennials for attracting beneficial pollinators, including butterflies and hummingbirds, to the garden. Black Adder Hummingbird Mint produces fragrant, smoky blue bottlebrush plumes from summer to early fall. They'll add wonderful color and texture to borders—and are attractive in cut-flower displays. This perennial's fragrant, oval leaves fill out the plant, giving it a lush habit. Black Adder blooms later in the season than some hummingbird mints, so it's excellent for extending the season. The deer-resistant, easy-care plants grow 30-36 in. tall. Grows best when planted in full sun. Zones 6-9.
