  • Blooms: Mid spring, re-blooms late summer to early fall.
  • Zone: 4-9
  • Form: Upright
  • Flower Form: Typical iris like. Larege blooms of great form and substance.
  • Soil Requirements: Prefers well-drained soil, but is tolerant of a wide range of soils.
  • Growth Rate: Fast once established, which takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks
  • Pruning: Remove spent flower stems. Cut back foliage to 6" fan in late fall. Clean plant debris before winter to prevent borers overwintering.
  • Foliage: Fans of green sword-like upright leaves in spring and summer with some dying back in colder climates in winter.
