AP 426 Bicolor Hybrid Sweet Corn Seed (sh2)

Taste and you'll say WOW!

  • Main-season variety
  • Excellent flavor and texture
  • Resists earworm damage
  • Exhibits better vigor than older sh2 varieties
The flavor and bite of this new main-season variety is exceptional. When you bite into the large, 8 in., bicolor ears, you'll experience a crisp texture and extra-sweet flavor. The ears are quite attractive, too, with good tip fill. The dark green flag leaves and protective husk reduce earworm damage. This hybrid's strong plants have better emergence vigor than many original sh2 varieties. Sweet corn seed can be directly sown into the garden when the soil temperatures reach 65 degrees F and danger of frost is passed. When planting, isolate from (su), (se) and (sy) types. 78 DAYS
