Wedding Party Mixed Helleborus

Blooms in Late Winter

  • 3-in., fully double flowers
  • Bloom in late winter to early spring
  • Mix of colors
  • Evergreen foliage
  • Deer tend to avoid
Hellebores, or Lenten roses, are treasured for their colorful blooms in late winter to early spring—and the Wedding Party Mixed Helleborus is one of our favorites. These shade perennials produce large, 3-in., fully double flowers that bloom for up to three months. Enjoy them in the garden, or cut a few blooms to float in a bowl of water. The mix includes shades of white, yellow, pink or purple-black, our choice. The glossy green, leathery leaves are evergreen. This deer-resistant perennial grows best in full to partial shade. Grows 18-20 in. tall. Zones 4-9.
