Young foliage is striking golden yellow, creating an outstanding backdrop for the blue flowers. Full of blossoms from March to June, then sporadic bloom throughout the growing season. Combines well with spring-flowering bulbs like daffodils which grow through the evergreen carpet. Easy to grow in sun or shade. Drought and deer resistant. Potted. Zones 4–8.

Form: Evergreen Perennial ground cover
Flower Form: 3/4 inch 5 petals, appear in moderate numbers at the stems end.
Soil Requirements: Does well in all but the poorest soils. Best in moist but well drained.
Growth Rate: Slow while establishing, vigorous thereafter
Pruning: May require a clipping back to encourage new growth occasionally. Prune in early spring.
Foliage: New foliage emerges bright gold before fading to green.
