New plant breeding has resulted in qualities such as more compact trees, better disease resistance in plants, and tastier fruits. Our Gurney's team works with plant breeders, university research programs and others to find fruit cultivars that are easy to grow and produce flavorful fruits. Over the years, Gurney's has introduced breeding breakthroughs—including the first seedless muscadine grape.
