Depth: Set at the same level as in pot when received, firm well and water thoroughly.
Spread: 15-18 inches.
Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade.
Color: Clear white.
Foliage: Dark green lanceolate leaves, 3-5 inches long with serrated margins.

Comments: Unlike other Physostegias that tend to spread too rapidly, white does not run. This variety forms a clump, and is therefore perfect for the border and smaller gardens where it's 'good manners' can be appreciated and the long display of flowers on well branched stems enjoyed. Its strong upright lines provide an important vertical element in the garden. Very hardy (-40 degrees F.) and easy to grow. Butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to this flower. Deer resistant.
