Botanical Name: Nasturtium officinale

Height: 4 - 6 inches

Spacing: 1/2" apart, Thin to 4" apart

Depth: Watercress may be direct seeded about 1/4" deep.

Sun/Shade: Full sun

Foliage: Produces a large crop high in calcium and iron with a delicous peppery flavour.

Days To Maturity: 60 days

Soil Requirements: soil that is fertile, humus-rich, well-limed, and has a pH around 7.0.

Pruning: Regular picking is essential for continuity. Harvesting: When plants are 4 to 6" tall, clip sprigs off the top 3" to 4". The tips are the most sweetest, most tender part of the plant. In mild, winter climates, harvest during the cooler parts of the year
