Had good luck with this variety. Very productive and good all around northern berry. They worked very well in cobbler, with ice cream, fresh and have made some good blackberry wine with them.

Best Choice!
Reviewed By: Susan L. (Provo, UT)
I planted several Triple Crown plants I purchased from Gurney's about 5 years ago. It took them a year to get established. We have enjoyed fat and delicious berries every year. My neighbors are surprised by how large and sweet the berries are. And no thorns! I planted another variety I got from a neighbor at the same time, those berries are smaller with bigger seeds and not as sweet as the Triple Crown. Two of my gardening friends also grow berries and say Triple Crown is the best blackberry!

Good plants so far
Reviewed By: Brent (Marshall, IL)
I purcased 3 plants. They arrived with the roots plenty wet. Planted them in early april. Now its may and two out of three are growing really good. As for the third i am yet to see any growth. but for being a first time planter of something other than vegetables I am totally satisfied. Be even more satisfied next year when then they start producing.

Prolific Blackberry
Reviewed By: Malcolm Overton (Poseyville, Indiana)
I planted this Blackberry type three years ago and it is the largest, best tasting blackberry I have ever grown. It is prolific and productive. Picked 7 gallons off of ten plants in the second year and expect to do much better this coming year. It does better if it is trellised as it is simi trailing. It is easy to grow more plants by tip rooting.

outstanding thornless
Reviewed By: lucia stevenson (fallon, nevada)
I grew this on the recommendation of our local extension office. This was an outstanding performer. The berries are sweet, large and firm in texture inspite of our high desert climate. The Triple Crown is an absolute winner and keeper!
