Dark green leaves, creamy-white flowers and a heavenly fragrance make Sweetbay Magnolia one of the most popular flowering trees! Great for specimen planting, it's sure to attract attention to your yard, especially when it's in full bloom. Deciduous tree, evergreen in southern regions. Grows 25 to 50 ft. tall. Blooms midsummer. NOTE: We are unable to ship our trees to PO Boxes at this time.

We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.

Trees and shrubs are kept in the nursery row until full dormant for optimum stress protection.

In all cases, we choose the fastest, most efficient way to send your orders via the U.S. Postal Service or FedEx. Large orders or large items may be shipped to you in multiple packages.

Sorry, we cannot ship products to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO or outside the contiguous United States. Please provide a street address as some products are unable to be delivered to Post Office boxes.

Pruning: Remove ill placed branches when as small as possible. It is much easier to remove crossed branches when young. Late winter or early spring. Some can be done in late summer to prevent bleeding of sap.
Foliage: Oblong-lanceolate shiny green foliage is silvery beneath. Foliage is evergreen to semi-evergreen in the south. Deciduous in north.
