Wonderful!
Reviewed By: Randa Portrey (Naples, ID)
Sweet Success cukes grow long and have a uniform diameter from stem to blossom end. Because of the seeds are so small, they make wonderful sweet pickle chunks. The only drawback I can find is the escalating price of the seeds.

Great for a non-cucumber eater

I grew 6 hills of these from seeds at my house primarily for my wife and daughter. I don't usually eat cucumbers but I loved these any way I could eat them. they produced so many cucumbers I had to share with 3 neighbors. I will have these again this year.

Wonderful results
Reviewed By: Heidi (Lima, Ohio)
This was my first time growing cucumbers. Even with planting them late (in mid June), I had about 40 cucumbers from 10 plants (probably more than that) by the time they were done. They were good healthy plants. I made tons of pickles. They were great fresh in salads as well. I'll definitely plant these again.

Sweet Success
Reviewed By: danny grantham (biloxi, ms)
This is my first full garden since Hurricane Katrina. This cucumber has really produced; two plants have grown 12 to 15 cukes, good color, texture and taste. Also planted pickling cukes, watermelon, cantaloupe, squash, tomatoes and peppers. Have several small melons. Sweet Success is a good cucumber to grow and it has performed well in our hot humid temperatures.

Great cucumber
Reviewed By: Paul (Washington, Ut)
I love this cucumber and have been growing it for years. Not only is it extra sweet but it produces in the heat. I water mine every day to avoid the bitterness but we are extremely hot. The seeds are getting extremely pricey so I am looking for a substitute.

I've planted Sweet Success three years now, and I am back on the Gurneys web site ordering more. They are long and thinner, so never get seedy. God disease resistent, and produce all summer, even in the heat. Good sweet flavor, never get bitter.

Best Ever!
Reviewed By: Margaret D Demmon (Valparaiso, Indiana)
I have always had a problem eating cucumbers. The Sweet Success is the best I have ever had. Not only did it not cause stomach trouble but it is one of the best producer I have ever grown. The seeds are so small that you hardly notice them and there is no bitter taste. With only two plants, my husband and I ate from it all summer long. If you haven't tried this one, do it now.
