Love this Tree!
Reviewed By: Holly Helmstetter (Antwerp, NY)
I bought a VERY young Stanley Plum about seven years ago and it didn't get a single blossom until last spring. Boy, did it make up for lost time! It got hundreds of blossoms and it seemed like almost every one of them set fruit. These gorgeous royal purple fruits almost completely covered the tree. Individual fruits ripened over at least six weeks, with 7 to 20 newly-ripe fruits on the ground every morning. The plums are Freestone, making them a pleasure to eat or process, and they will keep for up to two months in the refrigerator. The flavor is just plain wonderful.. I'll be planting two more of these this year, probably starting out with older plants to hasten fruit production.

Big tree
Reviewed By: Carleen C (Ballston Spa, NY)
I recieved this tree yesterday it was well packaged and and well rooted. For a semi-dwarf plant I recieved was well over 2ft tall. It even had a little pink indicator as to how deep to plant it. I opted to plant in a huge container for the time being. I followed the directions for soaking roots before planting. Looking forward to getting fruit in a few years.

Stanley Plum
Reviewed By: KK (Naples, ID)
I am disappointed in my stanley plum tree. Year one I figured was for settling in. Year two brought not much change. Year three gave me two blossoms but no new height, and year four I would think I would have at least a six foot tree with branches, but lo and behold my plum stick has not gained height and has very few branches. It sure likes to send out the suckers though. Worth trying? I guess it depends on your location.

Excellent Tree!
Reviewed By: William (Niceville, Florida)
After 1 year, the tree grew from 4 feet to 7 feet tall. I pruned the tree last fall and it has numerous buds on all of its branches. No fruit yet but I am sure that this one will be prolific. Will gladly purchase again. Currently, this specimen resides alongside my pool and I look forward to it bering fruit. Great variety for the panhandle of florida.
