Fun sunflowers to grow!
Reviewed By: W (College Station, TX)
For three years in a row, I've planted these in the back row of my raised beds in my garden just for fun. The stalks grow to be about 4 inches thick at maturity, and the sunflowers are at least 15 foot tall with heads that easily reach 12-16" across. Never have to be staked and they hold up to wind and weather just fine. They make a beautiful landscape border around the garden and we will continue to plant them every year.

sun flower

They did grow tall, really tall. I thought that there would be several flowers on each plant like the picture shows. It just turned out to be one big flower like a regular sun flower. Over all not a bad product.

Wonderful

These are great sunflowers, very easy to grow and VERY tall. We have lots of deer and they ate all of the lower flowers BUT, they still grew tall with the upper flowers, looked like popsicles! My kids loved them, buying again this year at my son's request.

I dont know where it came from but I have one of these growing in my garden this year and it has stole the show! Complete strangers driving by, stop and ask to look at it! It is absolutely mezmerizing! You never get tired of watching it grow! My kids have fell in love with it! Everyday they wake up they run outside to see how much bigger it is and how many new buds are on it. Ours is about 50-60 days old right now and has 33 buds on it!! EVERYONE LOVES THIS PLANT! Very tall!

If you want tall sunflowers, these are the one's to get. The tallest one I planted grew to 10 feet. I started these off in a small greenhouse using peat and they sprouted extremely fast. I highly recommend them.

This is a great buy. I planted these seeds in my flower garden last year and still get remarks on them. Neighbors ask for me to plant them again all the time.

giant sunflowers
Reviewed By: roy gurk (dearborn, mi)
I tried them for the first time last summer. They grew to over ten feet (hard to measure from atop a ladder), with a giant flower full of seeds on each one. I was impressed.
