Rosemary Herb Seed

Ever Popular Poultry Seasoning

  • Used for flavoring pork, lamb and poultry
  • Narrow, spiky leaves add texture to garden
  • Grown as annual in the North
A favorite in the herb garden, rosemary adds a piney, bittersweet flavoring to pork, lamb, poultry and other dishes. In warmer regions of the United States (zones 8 and warmer), rosemary is grown as a perennial evergreen shrub. In the northern regions, it's grown as an annual herb. Some gardeners grow rosemary in a container and bring it indoors over winter. Rosemary's foliage is quite aromatic, with a clean, piney scent. The tender tips of its leaves are harvested for seasoning. They can be used fresh or dried.
