Dramatic 2-3" dark purple blooms have yellow and green throats. At 15-20" tall, these hardy reblooming daylilies are perfect for edging borders and walkways as well as for patio containers due to their compact growth habit. Purple de Oro looks best when planted in clusters. They bloom first in early to midsummer and then produce a second wave of blooms in the fall. Bareroot. Zones 3-9. Hemerocallis 'Purple de 'Oro'.   • Botanical Name: Hemerocallis 'Purple d'Oro'
  • Height: 15 - 20 inches
  • Spacing: 12 - 18 inches
  • Depth: Dig 8 " x 8 " hole. Make cone shape with soil and spread roots over it, placing crown 1 inch below soil surface.
  • Spread: 12 -18 inches
  • Sun/Shade: Full sun to partial shade.
  • Color: Dark lavender with golden yellow-green throat.
  • Foliage: Strap-like, medium to dark green foliage.
  • Blooms: May - August sporadically (May not bloom until the second season).
