An attractive and succulent melon that's a favorite for slicing and eating fresh as well as for fruit salads. Plantation Pride Hybrid Watermelon produces good yields of large, 16-20 lb., seeded watermelons with a sweet, juicy, deep red flesh and elongated shape. While a favorite for fresh eating, it's also a great pollinator for seedless varieties. Has a great storage ability and heavy fruit set potential. Watermelons require warm weather and direct sun. Those living in northern climates with shorter growing seasons may start watermelon seeds indoors and transport to the garden about two weeks after the last frost date. Plant in full sun.95 DAYS.
