  • Botanical Name: Asclepias tuberosa
  • Height: 24 - 36 inches.
  • Spacing: 12 - 18 inches apart.
  • Depth: Plant root 1 inch below soil surface.

  • Color: Orange blossoms.
  • Foliage: Gray-green, lanced shaped foliage.

  • Flower Form: Tiny 1/4 inch flowers in many clusters (2 - 3).

  • Comments: Remove flowers as they fade to prolong bloom time. Competes successfully with grasses. Incorporate a small amount of peat moss or compost into the soil just to help improve drainage.
