Color: Copper colored, maturing to silver.
Foliage: Narrow, silver, 1/4 - 1/2 inch wide blades.

Form: Perennial. Upright clump.
Soil Requirements: Well-drained average soil.
Growth Rate: Slow growth first season while establishing; moderate to fast thereafter.
Size: 6-7 1/2 ft.
Comments: If soil is heavy or clay-like, incorporate generous amounts of peat moss, well-rotted manure, or compost into the soil. Cut down flower stalks and old growth in Spring. New growth will emerge from the base. Plumes make good cut or dried flowers for arrangements. May be used as border or specimen planting. Habit is graceful and upright. Not available in Florida.
