Great
Reviewed By: Harry Smith (NORTHERN CAMBRIA, PA)
I planted a small patch to try these out and they did produce a good amount for what I planted. They quit and died and I picked what pods were left over for planting in open spaces next year. The best part is I introduced my kids to actually picking them off of the vine and eating them right out of the pod. They were absolutely amazed at the sweet taste on their first bite. I prefer the ones that produce all summer long but will always plant these because of the naturally sweet taste right off the vine. I like to freeze these in meal size packages for that meal ready package.

Successful Crop
Reviewed By: Molly G (Shellsburg, Iowa)
"Since moving to eastern Iowa, I haven't had any luck with peas. I seriously questioned my ability until someone told me""you can't grow peas in cedar rapids"". We moved NW of cedar rapids, but I only ever got a few handful of pods in a season until I tried the lincoln pea last season. It wasn't a bumper crop, but it was a crop and after 9 or 10 years of trying, that's really something. I wish I would have planted more rows and staggered the planting over a few weeks."

Plant nothing else!
Reviewed By: Carolyn (Fond du Lac, WI)
We have always planted LINCOLN. This year we didn't get our peas ordered and planted two other kinds of peas and had none for the freezer. Next year it'll be ONLY LINCOLN peas. We like theM raw and cooked ... a good keeper in the freezer too.

It's a race between my wife and me on who gets the first. She wins. Excellent.

These are the only peas my mom ever planted. They're harder to find these days, but still just as good and tasty!

We planted these and the Maestro peas last year and had the biggest yield of peas we've had in 6 years of gardening. I'm ordering this variety again.
