Fruit: Large, globular roots. Deep purple crown. Fine grained. Deep buff to light yellow skin with purple top.

Soil Requirements: Well drained fertile, loose soil.

Seed Count: Approximately 600 seeds per packet, 1 oz is approximately 1,200 seeds and 1/4 lb. is approximately 25,000 seeds.

Comments: An excellent keeper. Sweet flavor and firm texture. An improved American Purple Top, 4 - 6 inch globes are creamy yellow on the lower half with a deep purplish color on top. Off yellow flesh throughout. Mild and good flavor. Good for Fall and Winter storage.
