An improved selection of an old favorite, Jackson Wonder A.R. adds anthracnose resistance (a devastating fungal disease) to the list of attributes which makes it an excellent choice for the South. Its meaty flavor is unique (kind of like a baking bean), making it a favorite of many, especially for soups. On the recommended variety list of ten State Extension Services , including all eight growing regions of Texas (which very few varieties of any vegetable can claim), it has a proven track record of heat and drought tolerance. Dwarf habit on 1-1½' tall plant. Keeps producing all summer long in clusters close to the central stem (so plants never fall over from the weight). 66 DAYS.
