Depth: In clay soil, rhizomes should be slightly exposed. In sandy soil, they can be covered 1-2". Vigorous grower which requires generous feeding if soil is not fertile. At least 5 hours of sunlight each day.
Spread: 12-24" Closer planting gives immediate effect, but Iris will need thinning often

Color: Pure white with light yellow beard
Foliage: Green sword-like fans of foliage in clumps. Some die back in colder climates
Blooms: Mid to late spring with intermittent bloom late summer to frost
Flower Form: Medium sized, ruffled formally shaped flowers borne on short stems with close branching
Soil Requirements: Neutral pH, well drained
Growth Rate: Multiplies 2-3 per year
Pruning: Very important to cut off dead blooms to promote reblooming. Clean up plant debris before winter to prevent borers from over wintering
