Botanical Name: Capsicum annuum 'Serrano Tampiqueno'

Sun/Shade: Well drained, humus enriched soi.l

Yield: 100 lbs. per 100 foot row.

Fruit: Ripening from glossy green to orange to vibrant red-orange.

Days To Maturity: 75 days from transplant.

Soil Requirements: Full sun.

Seed Count: Approximately 25 seeds per packet.

Size: 2" long by 1/2" wide pendant shaped fruit.

Comments: Fruit are very flavorful with an intensely spicy kick. Very hot whether fresh or dried. Can be used in chili, sauce, salsa, hot pepper vinegar and wonderful for pickling. At 8,000- 22,000 Scovilles, Serranos are about 5 times hotter than jalapenos, but not as hot as habaneros. Heavy yielding plants.
