Honeyberries, also known as Haskaps, are easy-to-grow shrubs which are exceptionally cold-hardy, not bothered by disease or insects and yield some of the very first fruit of the season. They are not picky about soil pH and are quite easy to grow. This 4- to 5-ft. shrub which will yield a bounty of rich blue berries that ripen up over two weeks before strawberries and feature a tangy flavor. Best fruiting in partial to full sun. Plant at least 2 varieties for pollination. Bareroot. Zones 3-8.
