VERTICALE MASTERPIECE!
Reviewed By: jim (vassar, MI)
I've grown cukes for years, none better than these! I grow cukes on a small fence. I thinned these to 4 plants, and picked over 150 cukes! very tasty for slicers. And they have very good disease resistance.

ton of cukes
Reviewed By: Dave (Westfield, MA)
Excellent producer of tasty cukes. as good fresh as they are pickled. My only complaint would be that you get a ton of cukes in a very short time. They were done producing in less than 4 weeks. I'll stagger my plantings next season.

Best so far!
Reviewed By: Corrie (Cincinnati, OH)
I have had terrible problems with cucumber beetles and the ensuing wilt they bring. This cuke is more resistant to the beetles than any I've tried, and extremely productive! They are tasty too! My cucumbers won a blue ribbon and the fair, and the pickles I made with them did also!

Cucumber Invasion!
Reviewed By: Brad (Dodge City, KS)
This is the most productive and high quality hybrid cucumber ive ever come across. It was a full time job just trying to keep up with them! Ive got several shelves full of some absolutly wonderful pickles of all kinds. Let them grow and they make very tasty slicers as well! Ive found a keeper.

All Time Favorite
Reviewed By: Mary (Perry, Iowa)
We have grown these cucumbers the past two years and this variety is an awesome producer. We are enjoying the pickles this winter and so are my family, neighbors and co-workers as I had more than enough to share and for them to make pickles as well. And we had a colder than usual growing season this past year. This is one of our all time favorites.

Unbelievable yield!
Reviewed By: Diane (Council Bluffs, Iowa)
Although 2009 was a good cucumber year overall in our area, the Burpless II Hyb. produced huge yields of uniform cukes all summer long. We ate lots and pickled and pickled and pickled! This is my new favorite cucumber!

in a pickle
Reviewed By: Sue (Albertville, MN)
We did have a drought this year but I watered a lot and everything else did average except these. For 20 years I gave away cuc's. This year I had to buy them. If you are a true gardener you can imagine my horror. It is as bad as having to buy zucchini!

I received this variety as a substitute for County Fair last year, so I gave it a try. Boy, was I glad that I did! Gurney's Burpless II out produced County Fair. Cucumber beetles left them alone. I have a new favorite.
