Gurney's® Li'l Sweet Improved Hybrid Cantaloupe Seed

Enhanced Disease Resistance, Flavor and Yield!

Garden Talk
Listen to why this is Niles' favorite.
  • Personal-sized, 1-2 lb., flavorful melons
  • High sugar content with tantalizing fragrance
  • Very small seed cavity
  • Tops for eating fresh
  • Plants resistant to fusarium wilt and powdery mildew
The perfect 'personal-sized' cantaloupe has better disease resistance and yields than the original Li'l Sweet and is even more flavorful! Luscious 1 ½ to 2 lb. melons are a light green color and turn to a yellow-tan color as they ripen. They have a high sugar content, a tantalizing fragrance and a very small seed cavity. Best of all, they have a rich, sweet, full-bodied cantaloupe flavor. In the garden, the melons are slow to split. The fruits are the perfect size for 1 to 2 persons to enjoy fresh and make a wonderful summertime dessert – simply halve, scoop out the seeds and fill in with vanilla ice cream. Delicious! The productive plants produce high yields and are resistant to powdery mildew and fusarium wilt. Zones 4-10. 76 DAYS.
