Gigantic Chives, sometimes called garlic chives, is a larger, more flavorful version of traditional chives. Growing 24 in. tall, this perennial herb has both edible leaves and flowers. In the summer, the small white flowers form loose globes atop elegant stems with soft, flavorful leaves. Gigantic Chives is very decorative and looks right at home when planted in perennial beds and herb gardens. Many gardeners like to plant them near the home where it's easy to snip a few leaves for their recipes. The leaves have a mild garlic flavor.
