A spectacular accent tree, its bright purple-pink blooms are borne in clusters in spring. Heart-shaped, leaves are glossy blood-red when young, slowly turning a dark, purple-tinged green in full sun. Autumn foliage is red, purple, orange and yellow. Grows 20-ft. tall with a graceful, flattened vase-shaped crown. Resists pests and disease. Plant in full sun to part shade. Bareroot. Zones 7-9
