A favorite heirloom potato from the 1800s, Early Ohio Potato has a delectable flavor unlike any other potato! Grown throughout the Midwest, this excellent all-purpose potato has tan skin and delicate pale pink flesh. Early Ohio Potato is excellent for baking, boiling and frying. An early season potato, it stores well for up to 3-4 months. This variety was bred to withstand golden nematodes, potato scab and verticillium wilt. Seed potatoes from Gurney's are all Blue-Tag certified by state inspectors to be free of disease and true to type. They can be planted three weeks before the final spring frost.
