This plant was about 12 inches long and doing exceptionally well when I received it. The dirt was even still wet out of the package. I am very pleased and will certainly consider buying again!

So far so good...
Reviewed By: Jennifer (Rockwood, TN)
I bought this little tree on the strength of someone on a garden forum saying that it was a Calamondin (because Dwarf Venous Orange only exists at a few online nurseries. It's not a known variety.) The tag says Citrus Sinensis which is the scientific name for sweet oranges, which makes me totally unsure. I'm not sure if it will make a replacement for my beloved Calamondin or not. So far, though, I seem to have a healthy little tree. It arrived a bit bug eaten, but it's perky enough. No leaf curl or leaf drop. If it is like my calamondin, I'll probably see blooms by my third or fourth year with it and possibly fruit.

I bought this plant around 2 yrs back. It has lot of leaves but yet no bloom. It came in like a stick but got good growth in just couple of months. my concern is there is not even a single flower yet. It has reached a ht of around 3.5 ft.

These Dwarf trees do better in My Oregon Climate if brought in during the late Fall and Winter. I have a Dwarf Orange. I put it in a large pot and left outside in Spring and Summer months. Then Inside for the other seasons. it worked out really well. It went from 3 inches tall (when it arrived) to about 10 inches tall now. Had it since Spring of '13. Ordering a lemon and lime one as well..

great plant, not a traditional orange
Reviewed By: Rae (Columbus, OH)
I have had one of these for 4 years now and get a lot of little, golf ball or smaller sized "oranges". The peels are sweet like kumquats and the insides taste like lemons. I get enough fruit to make a great marmalade. I recommend this plant but be aware that you won't be getting a sweet orange!

I was hesitant at first about the shipping for 4 days; yet, the package arrived with my 2 dwarf plants and both were bright green and had little buds blooming already. I immediately put into fresh soil and water and they are both still doing great. Thanks Gurneys!5 stars

great houseplant
Reviewed By: Kristen (Grand Junction, Colorado)
This is a great plant outside or as a patio plant. It came to me about 4 inches tall with maybe 6 leaves and now it's 17 inches with tons of leaves. I left it outside last summer and brought it in for the winter and it's still growing. NO flowers or fruit yet but I only had for 10 months. I gonna buy another one :)

This was a gift for my father, and it's kept snug inside all winter and then in full sun during the summer. The plant itself is doing very well, but no fruit yet. I am hoping they will get at least something in the next year for sure!

pretty on the patio

My runt of a plant arrived last year as a twig with two branches and 6 leaves (all of a few inches tall.) A little pathetic. But now I have a 2-foot-tall bush, with 20 or so fruit well set and new blooms appearing. Cute, easy to care for and endlessly satisfying to sniff. Try the perfume fleur d'oranger by l'artisan when you don't have blooms to smell.

it's broken
Reviewed By: Elizabeth (Cheyenne, WY)
The top of my plant arrived with the main stem broken. At first I thought this must be a shipping error, particular to this one plant, but then I saw another plant I ordered in the same condition. The side branches are large, making the plant extremely lopsided. I'm not sure if this plant will make it. I will wait and see if I need to get another one, or if this plant is suppose to not have the main stem.

"It's hard for me to believe it's the same plant I got 6 months ago. I chose to put mine in an earthbox, so that I could easily have it indoors in the winter and then put it out when it warms up. I haven't done anything special and it looks beautiful, it also smells great. I believe I may see fruit next year. Thanks Gurney's for such a great experience on one of my very first plants!"
