Delightful sweet tart flavor is great for jams and jellies

Medium-sized black currants have a wonderful sweet-tart taste, which makes for delicious jams and jellies! Also great for fresh eating and baking. Consort Black Currants ripen in late summer and have a very high Vitamin C content. 3 to 6 foot shrubs are immune to White Pine Blister Rust. Self-pollinating. No. 1, 2-year plants. Zones 3-7.

Even though they looked like sticks with a bunch of roots attached, they've taken off rapidly and have put out several new shoots which will become new stalks. There are leaves flourishing, and this is with really unsettled weather with snow.
