Cultivate easy-to-grow Accelerate Bush Beans and add tasty nutrition to your table. These bush beans, also known as snap beans, are packed with fiber and antioxidants. Developed by the University of Wisconsin, these bush beans begin producing a heavy yield 54 days after sowing. The stringless green beans are a generous size, growing to 6.5 inches long, and the plants continue producing for weeks when harvested regularly.

Plant your white bush bean seeds 1 inch deep and 2 to 4 inches apart in rows. These bush beans need full sun all day. Suitable for hardiness zones 3 to 9, these hardy beans are tolerant to curly spot and brown top and and are resistant to BCMV and root rot. They grow to a height of 22 to 28 inches and need no supporting trellises or stakes. Only shallow cultivation is needed to remove weeds and grass.

Add freshly-picked raw green bush beans to salads or briefly steam them as a side dish. Add them to favorite vegetable dishes or make tasty dilly beans. These beans hold up well to long term storage when canned or frozen. Once picked, store them unwashed for three to seven days in the refrigerator. Alternatively, leave the beans on the bush to mature for shelling. Harvest bountiful baskets of Accelerate bush beans from your garden this summer.
