More than 20 years ago when I was selling corn on the fresh market, I tried about 30 different varieties of corn and had neighborhood corn tasting dinners. There were a very few as good as Bodacious, but Bodacious also gave better yields in the field. This has been the only sweet corn for us since then. Haven't tried anything else for years!

This is GOOD stuff
Reviewed By: Markus (Amarillo, Texas)
I grew 4 varieties of sweet corn this year with several maturity dates and spread it out so I would have corn all of July. I have to say that the Bodacious is the best so far. This stuff was amazing! I planted it around the first of May and got over 95% germination rate! This corn grew to near 6 1/2 feet tall and made 2 ears/plant but only the large top ear was picked. Very few ear worms without spraying or using mineral oil. The flavor was fantastic and the texture was perfect. I will be growing much more of this next year.

No ear worms!
Reviewed By: Christina Rash (Galt, CA)
I've grown this corn for 3-4 years now, and it's the first one I've grown that never has an earworm. I don't like to spray anything, and this corn has such a tight husk that the little buggers can't get in. The taste and vigor is excellent, it's become the only one my family wants!

"This was the first time I planted sweet corn. Planted 2 lbs. on May 3, then another 2 on May 13th. We didn't get much rain. It still did very well, even without spray or fertilizer. Germination was over 90%, altough some of the second planting struggled. We sold some, , gave some away, froze some and enjoyed a lot of it. Thanks "

First year that I have planted this corn and it lives up to its name in being flavorful with nice sized ears. I did have to replant as only half came up but this might have been due to the weather since it had been very dry. The replant all came up and we are enjoying this corn. My extended family all love it!
