These vigorous annual plants need no staking and begin producing their abundant crop of stringless beans in just 58 days. You can serve Blue Lake bush green beans immediately, or can, freeze or pickle them for later use.

Blue Lake 274 bush beans are resistant to bean common mosaic virus and tolerate the NY 15 strain. A 100-foot row of these productive plants will yield up to 120 pounds of flavorful pods, with the bulk of the crop produced all at once.

Green beans are a classic side dish for the dinner table, and these, with their with small white seeds, are juicy and delectable. Serve them fresh, or preserve them to bring summer warmth to winter meals. Add Blue Lake 274 bush beans to your garden lineup and enjoy their rich flavor at your dinner table.

No problems despite a tough summer with colder weather. Excellent, heavy yields. I filled up several gallon bags with about 6 plants. Very delicious.

Best Beans Ever!!!

These are the best green beans I have ever grown! They freeze well and are excellent fresh from the garden. Even my husband who doesn't particularily like fresh green beans couldn't get enough of them! I will definately be growing these in years to come!

Kids ate 'em fresh
Reviewed By: Heike (Little Falls, MN)
My only regret is not planting more of this variety, as it was sweeter than the other variety I planted. So sweet, in fact, that my young children ate them fresh as I snapped off the ends. Next year, I plan to double what I plant of Blue Lake.
