Gentry Hybrid Summer Squash is a dependable producer of smooth, butter-yellow squash of excellent quality, even in stressful, hot conditions. The semi-crookneck fruits are as delicious as they are beautiful. They're excellent grilled, sautéed, baked, steamed, fried or in stir-fry. For the best flavor and a tender texture, we recommend harvesting this summer squash at the 5-6 inch stage. Summer squash seeds can be directly sown into the ground when the soil is warm and danger of spring frost has passed. 44 DAYS.

Plants will be shipped at the proper planting time for your area of the country using the shipping timeframes outlined below. We continually monitor weather conditions for extreme hot or cold and adjust shipping schedules as needed. Due to hot weather conditions, we are unable to ship most plant items in July and August. Items that are overweight will require an additional shipping charge depending on weight.
